Srikanth discovered yesterday that BB works perfectly on a PSP! He is busy having fun on his vacation, so I am posting on his behalf :)
Check out how the page gracefully degrades to fit the PSP screen..
BTW, if you have a mobile device, send in screen shots or device shots of bb to [email protected] and we will post it on front page :)

This picture was one of the first recorded moments during the founding years of a very famous american organization. The organization itself got a 3 letter acronym for a name eventually, and a popular gag has it that the first two letters stand for the initials of the guy whose face is circled.
What organization and who’s the guy?

No, this isn’t another question…
Our experiment with the “math puzzle” as a captcha didn’t work out. Turns out that whatever script kiddie was spamming us has some basic math skills integrated into the scripts he runs. I normally contend that these nutjobs are mentally impaired (to the point of having trouble breathing without external guidance), but now I must grudgingly admit that this dexterity with numbers was not something I anticipated. Every dog has its day, I guess.
Anyway, the end result of this is that we now have a normal captcha up for unregistered users. Registered users can post without any issues.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. It’s just that the spam was getting a bit much to handle for either of us, and it was only increasing.
Please do let us know immediately if you face any problems. You can post here, or if not possible, mail us at [email protected]
Strictly speaking, the logo of this software should sport the animal shown in 1, because the software’s name is 1’s common name. But instead, it sports a stylized version of another animal whose name appears as a part of the software’s name.
Which software?
Hint: Map shows 1’s range

In order to keep off script kiddies from posting spam comments, we have added a math based captcha which shows up when you try to post a comment while not logged in.
Here is an example question which will appear on April 1, 2009:
On all other days, the questions will be as simple as “add 5 and 5”, which as a quizzer, should not be hard for you. But in case you forgot addition, keep some abacus variant handy ( Google is also a part-time abacus variant.. it has a calculator built in :) )
If you detest captchas, please register and the annoying first standard addition questions will vanish :)
(This is not a HHGTTG question)
(1) and (2) were messing around with (3). While doing so, they detected something that they totally could not explain. They tried a lot to eliminate it (at one point of time, they even suspected (4)), but they just couldn’t get rid of it.
Eventually, they realized that they just couldn’t eliminate it because it was not an anomaly. It was real, and it validated decades of work, and basically proved one of the most debated hypotheses of all time, beyond any doubt.
What is it (that they discovered)?
And who are (1) and (2)?

This question is one of the first ever sci quiz questions I answered, back when i was a wee little lad with principles and ideals and goals and all… Ah, the fond memories…
