ACM International Collegiate Programming contest has a logo which pretty much summarizes the contest

1. Think about a solution to the problem at hand

2. Get an Idea, Solve the problem

3. Get a Red helium balloon tied to your table.

This is basically done so that in the contest arena where a hazaar teams sit, people can make out which team has solved how many problems.
