This girl named something (when she was eleven) and got a reward of 5 pounds. Her suggestion was taken over thousands of other names suggested from around the world. 2 was one of the three names which made it to the final vote, where her suggestion won.

What did she name? (ID her for extra fun)

    In 1930 she told her grandfather the recently discovered planet should be named, Pluto.

    He forwarded the suggestion on to Lowell observatory.
    They liked the name because it started with the initials of the astronomer who predicted its existence: Percival Lowell. When the name was selected, her grandfather gave her five pounds.

    Asteroid 6235 Burney was named after her

    I forgot to mention that the other pic is the Roman goddess, “Minerva”, which along with “Cronus” were the 3 finalists considered along with “Pluto” by the Lowell astronomers.
