Werner von Braun was majorly influenced by Fritz Lang movies, and he put the Frau im Mond logo at the bottom of the V2 rocket

The movie was initially banned by the Nazis since they felt the diagrams in the movie may be too technically informative. However, a Frau im mond logo was painted at the base of the first successfully launched V-2 rocket.
