1)Ajax or Aias (ancient Greek: Αἴας) was a mythological Greek hero, the son of Telamon and Periboea and king of Salamis. He plays an important role in Homer's Iliad and in the Epic Cycle, a series of epic poems about the Trojan War. To distinguish him from Ajax, son of Oileus, he is called "Telamonian Ajax," "Greater Ajax," or "Ajax the Great".
2)Ajax (2006 population 90,167) is a medium-sized town located in the Golden Horseshoe of south central Ontario, Canada.

3)Ajax is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game released by Konami in 1987. The game was also released on the home computer systems ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64 in 1988 by Imagine Software under the name Typhoon.The players controls a helicopter (in the 2D stage) and later a fighter jet (in the 3D stage), and shoots enemies in the air and bomb them on the ground, collecting power-ups and defeating bosses to advance levels. The enemy is a 2007 nuclear power which has discovered and manipulated abandoned alien technology, hoping to become a spacefaring empire…once every other nation on Earth has been either conquered or obliterated.
