Great question from Manish Achuth.

He created something in 1963, in order to ensure some compartmentalization so that people didn’t have to live in a communal setting. Despite many faults, there is still no widely used substitute.

Title is a BIG hint

Answer:
Fernando Corbató. He came up with the password.

    Hmmm… 1963…
    Password-protected folders?

The idea of a passphrase goes back eons, so I may be oversimplifying the question.
