“The Last Question”, a science fiction short story by Isaac Asimov has a fictional computer called Multivac – that responds with an answer as above.

I believe the original question posed to Multivac was, “How can the net amount of entropy of the universe be massively decreased? “.

I think whats blanked out is ‘Back to MULTIVAX’, from the Asimov story…

    MultiVAX

This is from Issac Asimov’s ‘The Last Question’

Human beings ponder on how to prevent the heat death of universe and create multivac which answers “insufficient data”…. finally years after destruction of the universe, AC …formed by union of human and multivac finds the answer but has nobody to report it to; the universe is already dead. It therefore decides to show the answer by demonstrating the reversal of entropy, creating the universe anew. The story ends with AC’s pronouncement,
    ‘let there be light’

This is in reference to the MultiVAC Isaac Asimov envisioned in his 1956 short story The Last Question.
