    The Chandrasekhar number is a dimensionless quantity used in magnetic convection to represent ratio of the Lorentz force to the viscosity.

    Chandrasekhar limit describes the maximum mass of a white dwarf star, ~1.44 solar masses, or equivalently, the minimum mass above which a star will ultimately collapse into a neutron star or black hole (following a supernova).

    The Chandra X-ray Observatory is a satellite launched on STS-93 by NASA on July 23, 1999.
