As they’re all within the circle, they’re hypocycloids.
Or… were you looking for “spriographs”?

While I say my previous answer is still somewhat correct, certain of the curves were bothering me and made me lomk harder. I guess the proper term for these is a rose or rhodonea curve.

    A “rose” or “rhodonea” curve

  6. rose or rhodonea curves in maths
of the form r = sinkTheta

  7. In mathematics, a rose or rhodonea curve is a sinusoid plotted in polar coordinates.

these are rose curves defined by r = sinkθ, for various values of k=n/d.

  8. jins

    rose curves

  9. Rose curves.

Rose curves – curves in polar coordinates given by r = sin(k*theta). Here k = n/d is rational.

  13. Hypotrochoid’s and Epitrochoid’s drawn using Spirograph?
