Answer:
The IBM Thinkpad! Apparently, IBM had a campaign in the 90s that involved the word “Think!”. As part of this campaign they released a series of notepads within IBM for employees which just had the word “Think” on them. Hence, when the tablet/notebook/laptop was eventually announced, that was named the ThinkPad.

    IBM Thinkpad – IBM employees have traditionally been given a leather bound notepad with “THINK” embossed on the cover. The PC was named after this by designed Denny Wainwright.
