  10. Luciferase is a generic term for the class of oxidative enzymes used in bioluminescence.
The name is derived from Lucifer, the root of which means light-bearer (lucem ferre).

The substance that connects both the pics is”luciferin” [ and also “luciferase”.]. The “bioluminescence” amongst the creatures in 1) is caused by luciferin/luciferase
2)the second picture is that of “lucifer”. Lucifer itself means “light-bearer”, which in that language is used as a name for the dawn appearance of the planet Venus.

Fireflies….Light production in fireflies is due to a type of chemical reaction called bioluminescence. This process occurs in specialised light-emitting organs, usually on a firefly’s lower abdomen. The enzyme luciferase acts on luciferin, in the presence of magnesium ions, ATP (adenosine triphosphate), and oxygen to produce light.

The 3rd pic is that of lucifer..

    connect is luciferase…

Glow worms produce bio-luminescence through light emitting membranes called luciferins which are named for Lucifer. Lucifer’s fall from heaven is shown in the second visual.
