The Aspen Movie Map. The project was started in MIT to have an interactive Google Street-View-ish take on Aspen Colorado, and this was done in 1980!

Michael Naimark & MIT ArchMac’s Aspen Movie Map created in 1978-80, a landmark hypermedia installation which allowed visitors to interactively explore and navigate the roads in a small town in Colorado. The core ideas of the Aspen Movie Map are used in Google’s Street View.
