1 originally thought of this idea and designed the concept 2 a long time ago, but the idea was famously brought to life by 3 only a few years ago and 1 now works closely with the project launched by 3.

Answer: Alan Kay’s original “DynaBook” idea was to make a computer available to every child. Nicholas Negroponte, MIT prof and Alan Kay’s friend launched the OLPC which is trying to realize this idea.
The subject line is a reference to OLPC’s goal of making a $100 laptop.
