Answer:

  1. Canadian artist Garnet Hertz’ “Experiments in Galvanism”, where he took a dead frog, stuck a webserver inside it, and put a webcam for morbid junta to see the frog twitch whenever anyone tried to connect to the server.
  2. Illustration of Luigi Galvani’s Galvanism fundae.

    GALVANI’S CELL .
GIVEN IS A illustration of Luigi Galvani’s famous frog experiments taken from his work, De Viribus – Electricitatis in Motu Musculari. 1792 WHICH STATES THAT NERVES CELLS CARRY A FLUID THAT GENERATES ELECTRICITY

Garnet Hertz’s Frog Web Server, using Galvani’s electrophysiology experiments as a base. By passing current thru the frogs over the internet via an ethernet cable attached to a tiny web server inside the frog, one can make the legs of the frog twitch.

yup.. Galvani and the Frankenstien story (shelly was apprenlty inspired by the reanimation of galvani when creating the monster dude and Igor)..

    Quoting http://www.conceptlab.com/frog/
(Garnet Hertz has implanted a miniature webserver in the body of a frog specimen, which is suspended in a clear glass container of mineral oil, an inert liquid that does not conduct electricity. The frog is viewable on the Internet, and on the computer monitor across the room, through a webcam placed on the wall of the gallery. Through an Ethernet cable connected to the embedded webserver, remote viewers can trigger movement in either the right or left leg of the frog, thereby updating Luigi Galvani’s original 1786 experiment causing the legs of a dead frog to twitch simply by touching muscles and nerves with metal.”

    (1) is Experiments in Galvanism: Frog with Implanted Webserver. A miniature webserver is placed in the body of a frog specimen suspended in mineral oil. The frog is viewable on the internet, and remote viewers can trigger movement in either the left or right leg.

    (2) is the orignal experiment by Luigi Galvani that proved \

The dead frogs are connected to the internet. Galvanic responses can be initiated via TCP/IP.

Remember the internet meme where a guy in a chicken suit used to do what you instructed? On similar lines and quoting http://www.conceptlab.com/frog/ :
