PlayWow! That was an amazing round of live quizzing action! We had 120(and still counting) people taking part and 29 people posted their badges.
A big Thank you to everyone who participated!
We will be posting answers and some more awesome statictics from the event after a few days so that those who did not get to participate, can still give it a shot.

Enjoyed the quiz. But could have used a ‘how to’ guide before starting the game. Lost precious time and skips because of that.

very very nice. though next time around can we please schedule it at 12ish. 930 on a saturday night is just a tad bit too geeky… agree it adds lots of drama and intrigue about what you are up to when you have to make excuses and sneak away from places and dinners to rush back and put quiz but… 12 would be perfect.
that apart very very nicely done. more i would say, one a month.

tooo gud.. BTW what was SS “command” for?? I guess it displayed the structure for the user. Was there any other [Hidden]“command” like this;)

Good job! On the whole it was a neat idea and the interface worked fairly smoothly. I had a couple of observations that you might want to consider next time around. I found the quiz surprisingly short (as in the number of questions was fewer than I expected), perhaps you might want to poll other takers for their opinion. The terminal idea was great and but I think there was one serious problem (IIRC) – the login was unauthenticated, so I could have logged in with any user id (say as udupendra or dibyo, to be malicious). Perhaps authenticating it against existing accounts would be a good idea. The others are minor observations: it looked like you had acceptable \

The quiz was supposed to span for not more than an hour and the question count was set accordingly.
The login authentication problem is eliminated because the final score is applied on the badge you come back and post. To do this, one needs to be authenticated.

I agree with sidsen, 2130 on saturday night ensured that i started the whole thing late, and very drunk.
But good fun nevertheless, given that I hadn’t much of a clue about bash interfaces and shit.
Also, you might want to consider a longer quiz, though everyone wouldn’t like that. Also, make it less google-able.

Amazing interface.
Though being unable to sit through the quiz and actually finish it (holiday season..obligatory chores hound all!) , was impressed by the interface and the structured way of holding the quiz online. Lived up to the expected standards of Drama, Intrigue, Geekiness :)
