If movie (1) is based on the play (2), then which awesome fictional character is based on (3) (3 is a character in 2)?

Cracked by Dibyo , shenoyvarun86 , udupendra , varuns88 , sidsen and Pillai.

Answer:

  1. Forbidden planet
  2. Shakespeare’s Tempest
  3. Priscilla Horton as Ariel in an adaptation of The Tempest

The awesome “Robbie the robot” of multiple movie fame is loosely based on the spirit Ariel in the play.

There is nothing in the question to suggest that Princess Ariel is incorrect! I demand a point (and some more while I am at it).

@nihit: I agree there isn’t anything in the question itself, but all BB questions inherit some properties from the site’s “mission”. Disney’s Little Mermaid _definitely_ doesn’t come within the scope of our “Drama! Intrigue! Geekiness!” banner.

I could still randomly increase your score though. Just pay up some amount :-)

Of course, It does not come under the scope of the BB banner. I thought you had finally realised your mistake :P
