Answer:
This prof dude (Dr Richard Harrington) bought an insect fossil on eBay for a mere 20 Euros and it turned out to be from a new species. He wanted to name it after eBay, but was scared of being frowned upon by his collegues and named it “Mindarus harringtoni” after Dr. Harrington.
