Answer:Openmoko is an effort to make mobile phones completely free (as in freedom). It runs a Linux based OS and even its hardware is open sourced. The phone in 1, is FIC’s neo1973, the first Openmoko phone. Details below..

That is the JavaFX phone and that is Dr.Martin Cooper with the worlds first (analog) mobile phone the DynaTAC.
The JavaFX will work on a mobile phone OS and platform by Sun who acquired SavaJe who were initially working on it. This is supposed to be a competitor to Google’s Android.
