    Maharshi Mahesh Yogi is dead and this track across the universe is from the beatles 1970 album Let it Be,was influenced by the Yogi’s meditation techniques I reckon!

    Anyway, the song is: Beatles - Across The Universe

    The next line in the song is Jai Guru Deva Om.

    On February 5th, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi passed away, and I guess the song had that last line in it because of his influence (the Transcendental Meditation bit) on the Beatles. So, thats why “this” was in the news lately.

    On February 5, 2008, at 00:00 UTC, NASA transmitted “Across The Universe” in the direction of the star Polaris, 431 light years from Earth. The transmission was made using a 70m antenna in the DSN’s Madrid Deep Space Communication Complex, located outside of Madrid, Spain. It was done with an “X band” transmitter, radiating into the antenna at 18 KW.
