1. SF Golden gate bridge ( SF Downtown, in general )

2. Google homepage

Both turned off their lights in support for “Lights out SF”, an energy conservation event. Check the comments for some linkage. ( In 1, you can see that many other buildings have turned their lights off in support)

I have given points to anyone close to “Energy conservation”. No points for “Grid Outages” :P

Second shows the google page on that day when google also turned its lights out in the campus and debuted a new search engine page for the San Francisco users which is based on a dark-colored layout.

The page design itself was not to save energy directly but to spread the word.(Google had been shrouded in the controversy whether its white background page radiates more energy or not).
